No plans today. We managed to get the first of the girl's country patches sewn on - we cheated a little with Laos and Cambodia - looking pretty cool.
We woke up relatively late and walked around the old town. Talk about night and day - the place was so peaceful after the activity of the night before. We did some shopping, with everybody making what I thought were decent art buys. I sure there will be more of that - this place is full of arts and crafts. It's the first place that struck me where Nana would love to spend a week just hanging out and browsing the shops!
The humidity has really dropped, but the sun is very hot here, so we look for shadows and drinks throughout the day. The local Larue beer, at about $1.00 works well...
Then again, so does the Bia Saigon....
Phin would be surprised to know that we found the real Moe's Tavern in Hoi An. I sat next to this place for 2 hours while the girls got a massage this afternoon.
Later in the day, the girls shoed us out of the room, so Beth and I walked around, hiding in the late afternoon shadows, finally finding a place my the river for a Mojito.
I've mentioned the girls have been playing "spa" at every opportunity, and today was no exception. This is what we saw when we got home...
At night, we decided to visit Ms. Ha again at the Central Market - she was pleasantly surprised to see us and even remembered how much Robin loved the pork as we ordered 4 portions of Cao Lau and Robin got some extra! A night evening to cap off a nice day!
Larue... Beer...this is pretty French to me... A no plan day :)Seems pretty French :):)
