Laos customs

About a week ago we were in Luang Prabang for about 7 days. While we were in LP we did this corse which was to teach young adults how to speak English, so we went in the area to teach English, so first we meet up with these guys who were about 20 years old and started to have conversations with them and they taught us about the culture and this is what I got out from them.

- you can not touch the monks
- you can not hug and kiss in public
- you can not give gifts or candy to children
- you can not sell drugs to anyone
- if you are a women you have to shower with your clothes on
- women have to cover them selves up in public
- women and women and men and men can hold hands, but not men with women
- you have to get married before you love with the person
- you can remarry another husband or wife after they die, but not after you divorce you husband and/or wife.
